On a sunny farm, children find a glowing purple egg. Out pops Matilda, a happy beagle puppy. Her soft ears are so big, they catch the wind — letting her fly like a bird! She meets kind honeybees, chats with rabbits by a bubbling creek, and even helps a grumpy bear named Ba’donga remember how to smile.

But trouble arrives. Raellen, a sly red fox, starts sneaking through the woods, grabbing chicks and opossum babies. Matilda knows she must act. With her best friend Nena (the fastest little dog ever!), she asks bobcats, squirrels, and bees for help. Their plan? Face Raellen at the roaring waterfall cliffs!
