John R. Tuminello
No time to read no problem listen to it
John R. Tuminello grew up in the small town of Bossier City, Louisiana, during a time when America seemed full of optimism and discovery. His earliest memories are filled with the magic of bedtime stories — Aesop’s Fables and Grimms’ Fairy Tales — read aloud by his parents. Those tales of morality, imagination, and wonder sparked a lifelong love for storytelling.
Though his professional life took a very different path, storytelling always lingered in the background. John built his career in the construction industry, starting as an apprentice electrician and steadily working his way up to become a Senior Project Manager. Today, he works for Turner Construction as an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Controls) Superintendent. His role places him at the center of complex industrial and healthcare projects, including high-security government data centers.
Outside of work, John has always made time for creativity. He writes short stories that often reflect the quiet strength of everyday life. Nature plays a big part in his inspiration, which also finds its way into his watercolor paintings. His artwork focuses on natural landscapes and peaceful scenes—moments that feel both still and full of life.
He also enjoys restoring classic British motorcycles such as Triumphs and BSAs. His garage is filled with character, including a 1958 Ford Anglia, a tiny car that turns heads and brings smiles whenever it’s on the road. He affectionately calls it the “parade car.”
